Alpha Pod detects Istina-class

The following is a work of speculative fiction, or FICINT (fiction intelligence).

Overnight, at 0330 hours EDT, Alpha Pod reported a contact approximately half a mile east of Thomas Point light. The contact, designated CLASSIC-1, was soon confirmed to be an Istina-class microsubmarine, and was tracked for over two hours before being lost in the deeper waters off Bloody Point.

At this time Alpha remains on station near last point of contact, and is scheduled to resume regular Bay patrol at 1300 hours.
